Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

This policy is drafted with reference to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We recommend a solicitor reviews it before you rely on it, since your specific obligations can depend on factors like annual turnover.

Does the Privacy Act apply to us?

Businesses with an annual turnover of $3 million or less are generally exempt from the Privacy Act, unless certain exceptions apply. Regardless of whether the Act applies to us directly, we've chosen to handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as best practice.

What we collect

Your name, email address, delivery and billing address, order history, and any information you give us when contacting customer support. Payment details are processed securely by our payment provider β€” we don't store your full card details ourselves.

How we use it

To fulfil and ship your order, provide customer support, send marketing emails you've opted into, and improve our store and product range.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum information necessary with trusted third parties who help us run our store: payment processors, shipping and logistics providers, and our e-commerce platform provider. We do not sell your personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our products are fulfilled by suppliers located outside Australia. Where this applies, limited order information (such as your name, delivery address, and order details) may be disclosed to overseas fulfilment partners for the sole purpose of shipping your order to you.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working correctly and to understand how our store is used, so we can improve it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at exoticaenterprises2023@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us directly first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law.
